Hey You, “Pay Me To Post On My Blog”
It’s not everyday you’re presented with a truly irresistible offer. Sure, the $67 ebooks about making $89,251.56 overnight by writing one article on a blogspot blog are tempting, but they’re so prevalent. If you miss one, there will be a new one the next day.
(And yes, the next one will still have that “wait! save $5 if you order now” offer when you try to close the page.)
Well, yesterday I was presented with a very kind – almost irresistible – offer. The kind offer, from a gentleman we’ll call Sammy Smitters, went something like this:
“You can contribute an article to my blog, and I’ll post it for just $10.”
(So irresistible I had to put the offer in a blockquote!)
Isn’t that incredible? I do the hard work writing an article, and then I get to pay for it to be posted, too!
As if that wasn’t enough, the blog had an amazing PR3 and was full of high quality content ripped from ezinearticles.com! Wow, what a deal! I would be honored to be featured amongst such prestigious authors!
This Smitters dude must have read The Irresistible Offer by Mark Joyner, because I don’t how you could develop a ridiculously lucrative offer such as that without expert guidance!
Truly a remarkable feat of the human brain!
And to show you just how amazingly great this offer would be for me, here’s an example of what I’d have to settle for if I didn’t take Mr. Smitters up on his offer…
I would have to settle for publishing a guest post somewhere unpopular, say www.JohnChow.com. Then it would only reach his 35,000 fanatical feed subscribers and 300,000 loyal monthly visitors. How unfortunate!
But why do something worthwhile for free when I could waste my money adding my own article to a new PR0 page of a junk blog for the paltry sum of ten dollars?
That’s almost as bad as asking, “why not get a job instead of buying more $67 ebooks that have yet to teach you anything?” It just doesn’t make sense…

Click here to buy me a beer, because damn, I need to get drunk to forget how much internet marketing sucks!

Wonder how much this Smitters guy charges to let you clean his toilet? Thanks for the laugh!
@Christy
Joe the Plumber outbid me on that job at the $250k mark, but Smitters is letting me empty his septic tank for $50.
This is an interesting post. Thanks for sharing ! Hope to see your new posts soon.
Well as the saying goes there is a sucker born every minute and I am sure he will find some.
hahaha, where did you come across such a bargain? must have been digital point. or did someone actually contact you directly with that?
LMFAO, you’d be amazed how many of these incredible offers there are on DP forums
Haha, indeed, I have seen a number of these ‘bargains’ at DP.
But in this case, Smitters sought me out directly. Got my attention with a smaller scam and then tried to “upsell” me with this one!
How much do I owe you for this comment?
Oh hey, I’m just here to let you know that you could write a guest post on my blog for $9, price un-negotiable. The usual price is $10, but this way my offer is more enticing than Sammy’s.
I think I’ll need to learn more from you about making money online..
@Big Red
A measly $7 is all I ask.
@ Scott
I’ll only do it if your blog is PR2 or below. Or preferably, penalized by Google.
I wouldn’t feel right paying less than $10 for anything else
I always find something unique when people blogging either for making money of just fun like this one,..very interesting idea
People will pay for posting almost anywhere, pretty funny that you got that offer. On a side note, I want joetheplumber.com.
It’s funny because I actually know the guy who has johntheplumber dot com as his website…LOL…and his traffic has increased steadily since the whole PR about this guy.
This offer is ALMOST as good as the offer of submitting your website to 1000 search engines (when only a few worldwide get any traffic) for $99 or whatever…
If I didn’t know any better, I’d almost assume you were being sarcastic.
As for “a sucker born every minute”… I don’t THINK so! There’s only one sucker, at least who matters. And you, sir, are he.
Im going to have to say most the ebooks are useless, just random theories that are mostly blackhat.
Its amazing how people can do things like that. I blame certain ebooks that are just garbage.
You got to admire their gall in way lol, whats really scary is there are more than likely a few people that would take up his offer
As weird as it may sound, that does work though if done right. It is aggressive marketing. Lol!
It is surprising how many people continue to fall for some of these tactics.
What about if they would pay you 10 bucks to post articles on their crappy website?
@Bisnis
I still wouldn’t do it, but that arrangement (i.e. where the writer gets paid for their service) makes sense.
There are millions of people doing business online, these crappy tricks just need to reach out to 20% of the million and they will make tons of money everytime. How sad.

I have a better way of wasting your time and money. (That’s the business we are in isn’t it?) Write an article and pay a submission service, who promises to submit to thousands of article directories, and only a handful of the directories publish your article. The cost per “publication” may work out the same.
Dave
Yo Dave, I really don’t understand how that auto submission thing really works, is it some kind of SQL Injection?
Regards,
Sam
haha
. Very optimistic :p
I advised my friend many times to stop doing some paid post because it taking his blog to link farm and nonsense but he keeps on doing it, thus, losing quality of blog..
@Bisnis
Those submission services usually have software that automates the directory submissions. It’s just a bot doing human’s work, it’s not a form of hacking like SQL injection.
But it’s worthless as Dave mentions, so you don’t need to worry about it
@Webtoolkeeper
Yeah, I see a lot of blogs ruined by too many paid posts. Probably 99% of paid posts are garbage.
Just to add to what “Bisnis Online” and “Sucker” wrote about my comment on article submission. The service claims to make your article available to perhaps over a thousand directories. The software of the service would handle that.
The problem seems to be that maybe only 10 to 20 directories may be interested in publishing your article. This could be decisions made by humans at the directories. Many of them may not be interested in the category of your article. Whatever the reason, the results don’t match the hype.
Dave
The submission software also tends to submit to the wrong category half the time, ruining any chance you had of inclusion.
We could list problems with automated submission services all day
Very interesting post it is.
its such a bargain, i cant believe someone will actually do that.
I love your sarcasm.
I’m sure he’ll find some por sucker to part with $10.
Thats a great post and thanks for the information.
This is an interesting post. I have a good time reading it. Thank you so much.
Quite interesting. Thanks for sharing the info on new updates which I am looking for.
What an irresistible offer! I can not believe passing Smitters offer up.
Haha this is ridiculous!
I’m going to have to take his offer up
Hahaha!
It is a ridiculous approach!
lol if you havent taken up his offer il let you write one for me and charge you onl y$29 lol
Really interesting post. Make money online with paid post. so any bod wants to write paid post plz send your information to me.
I get tons of similar one about links,
“You can link to our site for $9.99 and boost your ranks within google”
lol some people will try anythin.
internet marketing experts denied to pay for such thing, still wonders a lot people paying for such links..
already become new business of comment buying, hahah people also started comment buying and selling.. so now wonders,,,
Wow, can’t believe the cheek of it. Get someone to write all your material and pay you for it! I bet somebody took them up on the offer as well!
You are not offering a good servie.
Haha, I heard google is also punishing websites selling and buying paid reviews just for the sake of rankings!
I seen many of these in some forums and there are many takers as well. I guess whenever there is demand, there is always supply?
Hi Sucker,
This is simply a stupid loser. Why didn’t you publish his website. He might charge you for that.
Very laughable article, great fun reading it.
Thanks.
The sad thing is that probably someone paid him. Surely some struggling bloggers thought that this offer means getting their name and work published on a “well known” site an it’ll surely bring traffic to them. And 10$ is not really that much…
Harika thanks.
I seen many of these in some forums and there are many takers as well. I guess whenever there is demand, there is always supply?
Nice post, I am looking forward to read your next great article
Agree! We think, we write, we pay. They are indeed clever to trick those gullible people out there.Or probably those lazy ones that doesn’t want research on it.
Like your site with Quirky articles. I like them, especially 8 sillyiest comments people make about internet marketing.
We can all laugh at how “noone is going to respond to that guy” but actualy I’m pretty sure there were at least couple new bloggers gullible enough to decide that 10$ “investment” into promotion of the blog is not that much.
You guys may laugh at this offer, but there are many beginners out there who grab these bargains.
I seem to be seeing alot more of this popping up. There are even some google ads that say they will build your links for $1.40 per link on some really high PR pages. However, they will prob deeplink your content onto a page with n/a PR, so pretty pointless waste of money
Glad to see you posted the article I sent you with my $10 check!
