Gmail Exploit Leads To Loss Of Domain Name

It’s times like these when internet marketing sucks so bad that it’s not even funny. I mean, it was pretty bad when David Airey got a big Google penalty earlier this year, but guess what happened now… someone hacked his Gmail account and stole his domain!

Talk about getting screwed over by Google!

There’s no reason for me to explain this further, other than saying that everyone needs to read the story:

    Pain in the neck, eh?

I appreciate you picking the story up here. I think it’s an important one to be told.

Here’s hoping my experiences with Google pick up in 2008.

Read through Davids complete story. Quite unbelievable something like this can happen.I can however not understand that all went so fast as I have transferred numerous domains and the process usually takes some time. Lucky enough I doubt this can happen to me in this form as the hacker would need to be from my part of the world lol

I feel really bad for him. I was wondering if he accessed his email account in a cafe during the trip or did he opened a spam mail that installed that filter. Kind of scary if you think about it.
