Everyone Thinks They Are the StumbleUpon Expert

You’re not cool unless you know everything about StumbleUpon.
Which could be why everyone is writing about it, trying to convince everyone else that they are the StumbleUpon Expert. Pretty much every blog I’ve ever read has their own “This Is How To Use StumbleUpon” kind of guide.

Looks like a good list…
But you know what sucks? As I’m in the process of organizing my list, this list gets posted. Can you believe that?
And not only did that list rain on my parade, it was a total kick in the nuts because my article wasn’t included!
Argh. I guess I’ll have to let this post sit for a few days before publishing it (so everyone can forget about Cornwall.) Then I’ll add some more links to make this more up-to-date, and when this debuts in October (i.e. today,) people can concentrate solely on it ![]()

Click here to buy me a beer, because damn, I need to get drunk to forget how much internet marketing sucks!

I hope your nuts have recovered
My list was a list of lists, rather than just a list. Someone even listed my list of lists, but if you did not have a list then it was difficult to add you to my list of lists. However, now you have a list yourself I may add your list to my list of lists.
lol
Thanks for including me
Lists are beautiful, even when you don’t like SU
Now the problem is whether to add to the list of lists, start a new list of lists, or perhaps list all the lists of lists?
I guess the first step is to list all our options for the list
Haha am I supposed to be happy I made this list? thanks for including my article…i guesss.
Hi Sucker and thanks for a linkback even if my blog is presented here in a negative way.
I never claimed I’m a StumbleUpon expert, everything I write is based on my own experience so my two posts about SU are just a confirmation that SU works for me (I posted stats screenshot) and a tip about how it can work for you too.
I truly hope you have read my post because it looks like you’ve just searched for “stumbleupon + howto” in Google and pasted first twenty and something links among which mine could be found.
Take it easy Daniel, you gotta read between the lines!
See what you’ve done now, Sucker!! lol
I think a more up to date list is needed. Let me know when you post it. I don’t really have a stumble upon how to guide, but when I make mine, please include me too.

Cheers!
Nice list. I’m no expert, but I need to learn how to leverage SU more.
The drivel you guys have written bout lists warrants a total boycotting of your sites and there content. Is this the best you can contribute/
Just try to write something inspiring that viewers relly want to know about. This SEO, Viral Marketing and selling others stuff just stinks. You will NEVER make any money getting stuck doing what all the other mugs are doing.
Move on and get really smart. Take a look at thebaldchemist.com and see how to work the web.
Yeah, because no one wants to read about SEO and viral marketing…
that chemist guy is funny. The site has been on line since October 2006 and Alexa rank of over 2.9 Million. No one goes there and he sees himself an expert.
Oh crikey, don’t let Caroline Middlebrook’s readers read this list otherwise no one will buy her ebook LOL.
@ A Friend
I keep laughing at your comment each time I see it!
@April
I think this list is tame compared to some of the reviews of her ebook that are out there! I’ve seen a few people rip it apart.
The thing I’ve noticed about traffic from SU is that they spend a whole eighth of a second viewing your site… they’re just clickers, not readers or buyers.
Stumble Upon and Digg have the lowest CTR just enter stumble and so on. Digg is worst, people look at Digg headline for the story and Digg. Everyone is just looking to become a top Digger or Stumbler. Have you noticed that a lot of top diggers Digg more than 100 storied or more daily? I bet that they didn’t even read 10 of those.
what you guys think about linkedin.com ? i think that’s also a good soical network of marketing..
