For Sale By Publisher: Cutting Out The Internet Middleman
So there’s a new site listing all the sites that sell advertising directly, instead of using ad networks. It seems like a great idea with this new trend of webmasters handling their own advertising.
It’s like a FSBO for web estate.
But do you notice anything ironic about the site?
They monetize the site using Google Adsense!

Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?

Click here to buy me a beer, because damn, I need to get drunk to forget how much internet marketing sucks!

Maybe is them only good / sure source of money ..

Yet I keep wonder who really click on adsense ads … except “friends”
Hello and thanks for the post, and yes it is ironic!
As I said in my blog post, direct ad sales is not meant to replace ad network (at least not immediately). For new sites especially ad networks can be a good way to make money while you’re building up subscribers and visit statistics, to entice advertisers to your site.
We’ve had a few advertising inquires so hopefully soon you’ll be seeing some direct from advertiser ads
Thanks for stopping by, best of luck with the site!

The site really does fill a purpose online now – and I hope it is adopted by more webmasters in the days/months ahead. I don’t think there is anything wrong with using AdSense to monetize the site since it is a useful product. Mubashar needs to make revenue somehow!
Well…they have to start making money somehow.
I never believed in using a middle man to broker the deal, the whole point of selling something is to MAKE money, not to pass it around.
