John Chow The Con Man
I was checking out quite a few blogs and forums today, and one thing I noticed was a new offering from PayPerPost where bloggers could review other blog posts as a “special” opportunity. After reading about that, it led me to an offer from John Chow – he is offering a link from his blog to any blog that posts a review of his blog. Basically he is conning people into writing a review of his blog, and in return he’s just giving them a link from a very nice, high-traffic blog!
Joke’s on him though – the offer landed his site right here on the Internet Marketing SUCKS blog! 
But really, I have no problem plugging his website. I first found it a few months ago and I still try to read it every so often. It’s full of real-life advice for anyone dealing with online business and it has some cool stories (and pictures) thrown in for good measure.
The first post I read was about blending Adsense ads. It was not the simple stuff like using the same color scheme for your ads and site. It told you how to get the exact style of the ads so that you can make your site match – colors, fonts, etc. He writes a lot of good stuff like that, and I’ll admit, he might be a bit more successful than me! 
But I’ll be keeping things controversial and sarcastic, so be sure to check out both of our blogs!

I found your site through John’s review batch and must say I’m surprised you even got reviewed with what you have to say about him. I guess he’s not really reading all of them, but just checking for links? I guess it doesn’t matter as long as he gets the link, right? Gotta love your sarcasm though . . well, good luck and keep it up!

recently i had his site johnchow.com filtered out thru my google adsense, i dont want people clicking that shitty piece of ad in my site. there are other authentic sites out there…
dot com mogul? maybe a “dot com sicko” would be better, fuck you! you just want to attract people using that label. btw his picture looks stupid!
Maybe Confuscius was right: Man who rive like hell bound to get there. I suppose it could be called a con man game. Looks like Chow is building a link mountain.
